Welcome to Csövi-Hús Kft's website.

 

Our company was founded by Mr. and Mrs. László Csővári as a family business in 2005. The company was named Csövi-Hús after the family name. The owner, László Csővári is the managing director, who is responsible for the purchasing of livestock, maintains contacts with traders and organizes everyday work of the plant's employees.

 

Livestock is purchased from all over Hungary, transportation is performed in our own vehicles and with contracted forwarders.

 

In 2009, we acquired the meat processing plant at Cifrakert, Cegléd. In 2010, the company expanded with a slaughterhouse, as well as a cattle farm where 300-400 fattening cattle are raised for our slaughterhouse on permanent basis.

 

Initially, we used to undertake contract slaughtering and processing of the livestock. The company managed to make a huge step in 2014: we started to deploy cattle slaughtering technology.  Reliable, modern technology was added to the company's activities. 5 January 2015 brought a turning point in the company's life, the cattle slaughterhouse was inaugurated.

 

Since then, cattle slaughtering, jointing, boning, packaging and deliveries have been performed at the same place, Cifrakert, Cegléd.

 

The company operates with HACCP system and ISO9001-22000 system. Our plant works under continuous official veterinary surveillance.

 

700-800 beef quarters are processed every week to meet customer demands. These are offered in the form of bulk, vacuum-packaged or frozen products.  We are able to supply adequate quantities to small producers and wholesale companies.   Our products, jointed beef and beef quarters are delivered to every corner of Hungary. The deliveries are performed with our own refrigerator vehicles or through meat dealers. We aim to provide excellent quality and quick, accurate service. We export beef quarters on a weekly basis, and we also sell goulash beef including 80% beef chunks in large quantities to our foreign partners.
